Zakat ul Fitr is $10 per person

Assalamu alaikum Dear Community Members,

Zakat ul Fitr is set at $10 per person.

For example, a family of 4 will give $40 in total.

Please remember Zakat al-Fitr should be paid for each member of the family, and it should be done before Eid al-Fitr prayer.

Please give your Fitrana as early as possible so it can distributed in a timely manner. This will ensure that those in need are able to enjoy a joyous Eid as well.

Do you know anyone eligible for Zakat ul Fitr? Please inform about them to one of the Masjid shura member as soon as possible.
